Good Kicks!

Overall, its a fairly well rounded bag. Plastic vs metal vs sand is really all preference. It's not good for stalling until it's got at least a week or two of solid play in it, the fabric is stiff until then. Now, its good for stalls, got great pop, and is quite full still. If you like metal bags, plastic will probably too much of a change for you, but check this bag out if you wanna try plastic.

Just got this footbag and it is perfect for those looking to get good at freestyling. Great pop and control, it can be played with even without shoes pretty well. Doesn't stall as good as some metal footbags but does a really good job for a plastic sack. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. The blue and white looks sweet as well, but gets dirty quickly unfortunately
best footbag ever

For stalling, I would definitely recommend a sand or metal filled footbag. If you still want plastic filling, try the Pogo 8. It's large, wide panels will help the footbag sit on your foot easier. A well broken in 32 Panel footbag can be stalled pretty easily, but a good break-in can take a while.

thanks for the question!

What is your best stalling plastic footbag?

@jon
By John Webber (Dragonfly) on 10/30/09

Jon's question was: "What is your recommendation for the most durable footbag you offer?"

That is a very good question. I can't point you to one exact footbag that is the most durable. The life of your footbag depends a lot on how you treat it. Don't do toe pickups, wash it gently when it gets dirty. Those two steps will increase the life of your footbag considerably.

If you are really concerned about durability, go with a plastic filled footbag. They dont stall as well as Sand or Metal but the stitching and material will last a lot longer.

If I absolutely had to recommend a footbag for durability, it would be the Clipper 24, found under the Freestyle Footbags section.

thanks!

I got the sand one of this version, and it's one of the best hacky sacks, hands down, that I've ever used. It's been 1+ years and it still has plenty of sand, and is supple enough to stall anywhere. I can only assume plastic would only minimally change the quality of the hack. Buy.

    • Is there any way I could shrink this footbag when washing it?
    • The footbag won't shrink while washing it, you can even put it in the washer as long as you place it in a sock first! Just don't put it in the dryer. Use either the sun or a hairdryer to dry out your footbag.
